Architectural Benefits |
Maximize
the use of space that might otherwise be redundant.
Create
a uniform aesthetic space with proper and immediate
drainage.
Facilitate
routing of services (piping, cables, drains etc.) which
will be readily accessible for maintenance or
reconfiguration.
Establish
an engineered transition between the external and
internal environments.
Technical
Advantages |
Flexibility to choose a variety of paving slabs or platform types
.
Incomparable
labor saving over traditional methods.
Strong, lightweight, portable, adaptable, reusable and recyclable
Ensures a perfectly level surface facilitating perfect drainage – ponding is not possible nor is frost damage
Choice of joint widths – all of which will be precisely linear and crisp. It is also possible to have tight joints
There will be no deformation of surfaces over time as loads are transferred to the sub structure through fixed structural components
Provides for a level useable terrace above a sloping roof
Contributes to a reduction in heat loss through roof construction
Can be used directly on roofing membranes and felts due to profiling of base and bearing surface area of
320cm2. Such vulnerable membranes are of course automatically protected from accidental damage,
perforation and damage from sunlight/heat
The system is adjustable
millimetrically from 30 to 620mm vertically. There are also fixed heights of 17 and
28mm. Use of combinations of heights can overcome awkward stepped substructure conditions.
Being made from polypropylene the pedestals have impressive attributes such as being waterproof, UV
resistant, rust free, resistant to a wide range of chemical attack, non electrically conductive and with high
compressive strengths, durability and impact resistance
The easy rotation of the base allows precise vertical adjustment, each and every time. Adjustment with
other stackable products is hit and miss, and in many cases repeat adjustments or total reconfigurations are
necessary over an extended period of time. All other paver support systems require shims for adjustment
rather than with a simple rotation of the base.
